SOPHIA
recently had her first grade evaluation.
Auntie Laurie was the facilitator.
This brought much anxiety for Soph. "What if I don't get in? I don't think I could do another year of kindergarten Mom, I really don't"
I was quite surprised about the anxiety level of the six year old. An extra long ribbon was requested for her hair.
She walked into the class room a little timid, and emerged 45 minutes later full of confidence.
Needless to say, she is going to first grade.
Then Lyla fell off of the playground
so there was no real discussion with Auntie Laurie,
only reassurance from the child that she is indeed ready to go.
As long as she has it all covered.

Every time I see a picture of her, I cannot BELIEVE how long her legs are! You are in serious trouble with that one! Just give her a Xanax or Valium when she gets worked up about things, it will chill her right out!

I think that the extra long ribbon did the trick. I'll have to try that.
