Christmas: part one

It's that time of year! Oh wait, it isn't? details, details...

We had such a great Holidays! Mr. T's parents came to spend Christmas with us. We felt so lucky that we got to share that time, and create all the fun memories we did. Even though we got rained in a couple of days. (Seriously, it rained over 18 inches in 3 days. What a sight to see) It was beautiful. if you're into rain and all..I felt guilty as they were helping us with so many projects around the house. Finishing the fire place, putting up shelves, helping us unpack soooo many boxes we haven't seen since leaving Utah a little over a year ago..By the way, I was having a hard time keeping up with Toby's mom. She is STRONG! I realized that cardio is obviously lacking in my life. Little kids does not mean ample cardio I'll have you know. Or maybe it was all the Lindt chocolate and champagne I consumed, or the cheese? oh how I love the cheese! and now I get to look at it on my body for a few more weeks...parmeggiano reggiano+ saba= true love.
I clearly haven't posted for ages, so I'll be doing Christmas in stages..If you are lucky you may get a little Christmas spirit thrown your way in March(at the rate i'm going) but you know what? It's my blog, and i'll drag out Christmas as long as I want to!

Without further ado..

ACT ONE

My girls got so excited for Christmas when these lights came on. Magical twinkling eyes lit up, along with all of the lights. Talks about Christmas fairies ensued...

Surprisingly few expletives were used. Much more Christmasy that way, I think.

Glitter, Glitter everywhere! Families on the mainland, you will consistently be bombarded with thoughts of us ALL YEAR! lucky you.

I love the first year children truly understand the specialness of the Holiday

Avery got to put the Angel on top of the tree this year...

She was very awed by it. In fact, she wanted to do it twice.

More glitter.

Cocoa between sisters. Their conversation looks pretty interesting.

I know, I know, a little skimpy on the marshmallows

I love that they are drinking coca, almost naked.

Lyla is now crying like a 3 month old child who is starving. Whats that you say? she's not sleeping through the night?? not even close.

To BE Continued....

Yeah for the update! I seriously LOVE reading your blog! Love the pictures! What Christmas is complete without glitter everywhere? Actually I think you have had glitter everywhere for the past 6 years, right? I wish I could have spent time with you at Christmas! Can't wait to see you in February! Love you!
