I cannot find the cord to my camera so I can upload pictures. Boo. I wanted to share the wonderful Black Sand beach we camped at for New Years.
I also wanted to show some pictures of the girls faces as they ran toward their new bikes. Even Lyla's belated delight as she realized one was for her!
It was so great to stand side by side as a mom and dad, and watch the girls truly enjoy the fruits of our hard work! So satisfying...We were arm in arm and loving our kids loving their life..
We decided to get quality over quantity..Although this doesn't really add up to budget savings, as some of those toys get spendy!!! and the shipping...Holy!
You should check out the website though, they are a great resource for quality toys! plus they have all the older toys that we grew up on
Husker Doo???Liz, remember???? Piggly Wiggley? Soo much more fun than hanna montana...for me anyway. and since I am also playing.....ha just kidding. sort of.

Toby brought me this lovely arrangement of orchids...
Dear Toby:
Thank you so much. You know how to make my heart sing. I love you.

Can you believe that all of these orchids were fifteen dollars????
One of the only affordable things in Hawaii. At least on the Big Island..
