I love how children automatically bring bling where ever they go. Seriously, Lever doesn't make this..it is completely custom.
Ummm...is it MIDNIGHT?

Her eyes... I'm scared.

Wrastling on the futon. ( I still can't believe how much we paid for a FUTON)

Sophia's tooth is moving. A millimeter, but still. I'll keep you all posted.

Avery's nasal cavity. The only picture she was in the mood for. you understand.

Sophia had her hair straightened at the mall. She reminded me repeatedly that I was not in possession of a flat iron. I think she'll get me one for Christmas.

Do you think she's enjoying it?

She just doesn't look like Sophia to me. Funny how curls will change your complete appearance.

I let my children choose their own clothes. (unless it is a special occasion.) They love scroungy chicke. this is a picture before school. I wanted to get one after a school day to compare, but it didn't happen. Soph's braids are a consequence of playing my little pony while mom tries braiding your hair.

Lyla will not be excluded from Twister...of course she knows how to play

SEE?????

Where we will be living in two weeks. I can't wait...

My mind is already going crazy with so many ideas

I am a little concerned about the house being balanced on toothpicks.

But the bathtub totally makes up for it.

Avacados! (four trees of them) Guacamole a plenty!

Morning coffee on the porch anyone?

Art studio.....

I think this is just perfect

From morning.....

To Afternoon...

It was a lovely day...

A cold Hawaiian fall morning. (okay, not really that cold, but it looks like it should be)

It really made me want to put on warm socks and make soup. Since I no longer own warm socks, I made soup. (corn and roasted red pepper. a favorite among mexican children. Apparently, not mine though.

What is that beautiful piece of yard sculpture? Oh it isn't art? maybe, but it also doubles as a catchment tank. All of our water comes from this baby. (except drinking water. I don't want parasites people.) It really has made our family "green". No rain? no dishes, shower, laundry, etc.... Aside from swampy smelling bath water, has been fine. except in droughts. buying city water is DANG expensive.

WHAT TO DO ON A NOT SO CHILLY RAINY MORNING??

Lyla Rose shall not be left out. of ANYTHING if possible

In other news...

The MEDIEVAL FAIRE at the girls' school was a success!

Activities including chicken holding HA!(one of the only events that was free. So of course was favorite activity for Ava. This poor chick was mauled for ten minutes by yours truley, and then passed off to another sticky kid.

FAIRY WAND MAKING

SHOULDER RIDES(another free event)

HORSE RIDES. (They had a smaller pony available for the smaller kids, but NO WAY was that going to work for Avery. She needed a "real" horse.

of course, no 6 year old is going to be showed up by a 3 year old

THE CAST:
Sophia-Princess
Avery-Princess
Lyla Rose-Witch
Amy-Cat..or Mouse
Toby-Pirate(sort of)

The report:
The only time Lyla touched her hat. was not cooperative with pictures.
Sophia showing off her lipstick/eyeshadow. Princess attitude not much different than any other day. Semi-cooperative about pictures.

I thought cat, everyone else voted mouse. Avery originally wanted to be spiderman. Upon learning about princess makeup, quickly changed her mind. Was not cooperative for pictures.

Toby had half of his costume falling off, so he opted for the pirate sword/chino combo. Was not cooperative for pictures. (see above picture with bar stools). Then our camera died.
